How we work

For new clients we carry out a full audit of their external communications and marketing material before providing an assessment of the effectiveness of what they have in place.

These messages are incorporated into a communications brief that becomes the foundation of content in all its forms.

We advise and produce a full Content Strategy covering all media platforms and target markets.

The Content Factory used its vast knowledge of the betting industry to create and deliver content for SIS’s website, customer newsletters and trade press articles. We managed social media feeds, including a Twitter campaign on Spanish football.

Chris Buckley

Chris Buckley is a former newspaper executive and senior editor and manager at UK News, a national news agency for Britain. He was Chief Executive of PA Sport, a global content business and formerly part of the Press Association, of which Chris was also a director. Chris, having overseen the rollout of Sportinglife.com, a new digital presence during the first Internet boom, drove the growth of PA Sport into territories worldwide, setting up businesses in South East Asia, Australia, South Africa and North America.

In 2008, Chris set up Sports Media Consulting working with federations and media companies, advising on media rights and strategy. From 2009-14, he was CEO of Supponor, a leading-edge technology business, and remains a non-executive director.

Andy Elliott

Andy Elliott is a former national newspaper executive and was Director of Content at PA Sport. Andy was responsible for PA’s global content strategy, setting up of a worldwide network of correspondents and building partnerships with governing bodies and rights owners.

Building on those relationships, Andy founded Elliott Sports Media to deliver research and consultancy projects around a range of data rights and content. He became Head of Sports Data for Satellite Information Services in 2009-2011 and was a non-executive director of Opta Sportsdata. As well as being a director of The Content Factory, Andy works as a media consultant for UEFA, a role which keeps him at the heart of the media in the British Isles.
